National Leaders of Education training courses
EEF held a series of one day professional development workshops for all National Leaders of Education in March 2019. The training was led by members of the EEF central team and the head teachers of two Research Schools, Lesley Powell and Amanda Bennett, both of whom are NLEs and have extensive experience using evidence-based resources in supporting school improvement. The training combined presentations and workshops in phase and subject-specific sessions designed to support the work of the NLEs in their role as regional school improvement partners.

We intend to put on a similar programme for National Leaders of Governance (NLG) in autumn 2019. For others who want to understand more about how the EEF tools and resources can be used to support school improvement, please contact your regional Research School.
