Education Endowment Foundation:Maria Cunningham

Prior to joining the EEF, Maria was Director of Education at the Teacher Development Trust, where she spent the last five years supporting schools and senior leaders to improve CPD leadership and processes. In that time she led on national programmes including TDT’s DfE-funded CPD Excellence Hubs, the Wellcome CPD Quality Assurance Project and Nesta's EdTech R&D Programme.

She was previously a Key Stage 1 and Spanish teacher at a primary school in Pimlico, London and worked for Latin American Foundation for the Future (LAFF), helping disadvantaged children and young people in Cusco, Peru.
