Carol de Britos
Carol is a primary teacher and head of Cicle Superior at Escola Virolai.
Carol started teaching Science in English more than 10 years ago. Since 2011 she has organized the Science Fair Project at her school, which received a Baldiri i Reixach award, promoting the scientific research within students and families alike.
She has been part of the Grup de Treball Ciències i LLengües - Inquiry Based Science with the UAB, as well as of different AICLE projects with Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Lllull about class methodologies and assessment using ICT.
Carol is also the co-author of a book about Flipped Classroom. She currently is Associate Professor at the UAB in the Didactics of Social and Natural Sciences Department as well as teacher trainee for the Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
