Christine joined the EEF in November 2019 and is responsible for the management of EEF evaluations. Prior to this, Christine was a Research Advisor at The Behavioural Insights Team, where she helped design and evaluate interventions to improve health, education, and safety outcomes in the UK and internationally. Christine completed her PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2018, where her research combined quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the determinants of primary school absenteeism in Malawi. She previously spent four years at the Population Council, a research organisation based in New York, coordinating large longitudinal research programmes in Malawi and Zambia. Her published work focuses on linkages between health and education, and data collection methods.
