Emily Yeomans

Head of Programme Strategy

Emily manages our work under two of EEF's school themes - science and feedback, which includes our work on marking. This involves funding and managing research projects as well as overseeing the production of publications to communicate the findings of our work. Emily also oversees our projects that apply the findings of neuroscience within the classroom. 

Prior to joining the EEF in 2012 Emily worked at the Wellcome Trust, managing projects spanning education research, policy and practice - with a particular focus on science education at the primary stage and teacher development. 

Emily started her career working in malaria research, before training as a science teacher and working in a secondary comprehensive school.
