Triin Edovald

Head of Evaluation

Triin joined the EEF in March 2017 and currently leads the development of the EEF’s approach to evaluation. She also oversees the management of the Global Trials Fund and support provided to the EEF’s international Partners.

Triin comes from the Innovation Growth Lab (IGL) at Nesta where she is Principal Researcher and focuses on the assessment of RCT designs and provision of consultancy on RCTs to the IGL's partners and grant holders. Prior to this she worked at NatCen Social Research as Head of Evaluation responsible for the team designing and delivering impact evaluations. Prior to NatCen, she worked at the Dartington Social Research Unit, where she was leading on the adaptation of the Washington State Institute for Public Policy’s cost-benefit model developed to inform government investment decisions for use in the UK. Before that, she worked at the National Academy for Parenting Research at King's College London, where she assessed the quality and effectiveness of parenting programmes.
