What we need and why we need it

What information we collect will vary according to the survey. Some can be completed anonymously, with no personal information collected. Others will request name and email address so that we can follow up if necessary. We may also request limited work information, such as job title and institution, to help us understand who is completing EEF surveys.

How long we keep it

The surveys held by EEF will be reviewed annually. Those that are no longer required to meet the purposes stated in this notice will be destroyed.

Do we use any data processors?

We use SurveyMonkey to collect respondents’ data (see Survey Monkey Privacy Policy). SurveyMonkey stores this data in the US and we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to justify transferring the data overseas. Please contact EEF if you wish to receive a copy of the SCCs.
