Using meta-analysis to explore the transferability of education mid-range theories to Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria and Niger

Exploring the transferability of findings from the EEF Toolkit to Sub-Saharan African contexts

This project is funded by the Centre of Excellence for Development Impact and Learning (CEDIL). It is a collaboration between the EEF, Durham University and eBASE.

The project aims to explore the transferability of findings from the Teaching and Learning Toolkit to Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria. As part of the work the organisations will:

  • Add additional studies to the Toolkit that take place in low and middle income countries
  • Create new strands to the Toolkit of approaches that are applicable to countries within the Chad Basin
  • Explore whether variation in impact is related to study location.

Evaluation protocols for the work and project reports will be posted on this page. Below is the privacy policy for stakeholder engagement within the project and two protocols for two new toolkit strands relevant to the Chad Basin on cash transfers and menstrual hygiene management.
