Literature Reviews

As part of our aim of closing the attainment gap, the Education Endowment Foundation publishes a variety of literature reviews around areas of interest. These reviews help to understand approaches that have been successful in the past, and can help to direct EEF funding in a strategic way. The EEF has currently conducted literature reviews on Digital Technology, Literacy at the Transition, English as an Additional Language, Education and Neuroscience, Arts Education, and Non-Cognitive Skills.

Our latest reviews focuses on outcomes for post-16 students, and careers education.

Many of these reviews have led to themed funding rounds, more details of which can be found in the Apply section of the website.

Opportunities to work with the EEF on literature reviews will be published on the Research Tenders page.
