Sign up to the Exchange by sharing your details with us here.
Or, if you have any questions about joining the EEF Exchange, you can email us at SEG@EEFoundation.org.uk
Who is the Exchange for?
The Exchange is a virtual community of educators working in early years (including childminders), schools, and 16 – 19 settings.
We also welcome researchers and people working in education organisations who want to contribute their perspectives.
What does joining mean?
Joining the Exchange doesn’t commit you to anything specific.
Your level of involvement is entirely up to you, and you can take part as much or as little as you like.
What do members do?
Members receive a short email every two weeks. This email usually includes:
- one quick poll question about your everyday experience or practice
- opportunities to share more detailed insights with EEF teams through surveys, focus groups or interview
- opportunities to share more detailed insights with universities and researchers from outside the EEF, and
- links to new or upcoming EEF resources.
We regularly share back what we’re hearing from the community, so you can see how your views compare with those of other members.
From time to time, members may also receive direct invitations to participate in interviews, focus groups, or user testing of new EEF reports and resources.
You can always decide whether or not to take part.
What do members get in return?
- Early access to some upcoming EEF publications
- Incentives for longer activities, such as interviews or focus groups (around £30 for a 1‑hour session or £50 for 1.5 hours)
- A chance to share your experiences and perspectives in ways that help shape the EEF’s thinking and work.
Why should I join?
The Exchange offers a low-pressure way to:
- reflect on your work and explain your thinking
- hear from other educators
- build confidence in engaging with and talking about educational research.
