This April, we’re looking for organisations who want to work collaboratively with the EEF and our Research Schools Network to develop their understanding of and use of evidence.

1 minute •

At the EEF, we support evidence-use across the English education system so that it makes a difference for children and young people, particularly those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

As part of this, we work with organisations such as training providers, local authorities and groups of schools (e.g. MATs) to support them to use evidence to inform their work. We do this because we want to make sure that evidence is having the biggest possible impact across the English education system.

From May 2024 to June 2025, we’ll work co-constructively with a number of organisations, selected through an open application process. Each partnership will combine EEF materials and approaches with the expertise and professional experience of each organisation’s staff, with the ultimate aim of improving pupil outcomes.

You might be a multi-academy-trust looking to implement professional development programme to improve literacy outcomes across their secondary schools, or a professional development provider rolling out a new core training programme. These are examples, but we remain open to hearing about the interests, needs and ideas of organisations wanting to apply.

If you’re interested in working with us, submit an application by the 26th April 2024. We’ll assess each application on three criteria:

  • Do you share our commitment to using evidence to break the link between family income and education achievement?
  • Do you have clear ideas about how your organisation could develop through its use of evidence?
  • Do you have the motivation across your organisation to commit and build capacity to co-construct evidence-informed solutions?
