Today, the Research Schools Network has launched some new additions to its valuable collection of Clips from the Classroom’. These video clips, produced by Research Schools with the support of the EEF, seek to exemplify what evidence looks like in practice, in schools and settings across the country.

The videos offer practitioner insight into the EEF’s evidence-based recommendations, and translate these into tangible, relatable classroom scenarios. Pause points during the videos offer regular opportunities for viewers to reflect on what similar practices or approaches might look like in their settings. The videos also include clear signposting to the underlying evidence base, making them particularly useful for professional development (PD).

Over the course of this week, the EEF will be highlighting some of the new additions to the collection in a series of blogs. We will also share some insights from Research Schools on how they have used the existing videos for PD since the collection was first launched last summer, which will hopefully inspire viewers to consider how video exemplification could become part of their practice.

The new videos include:

These videos supplement the blogs produced by the Research Schools Network – rich perspectives from leaders across early years, schools, and 16 – 19 settings.
