- Continued commitment to Pupil Premium to support disadvantaged children to reach their potential
- Protecting day to day schools spending in real terms per pupil
- Continued support for teachers to use well-evidenced approaches such as phonics and mastery learning in maths
- Continuation of planned roll out of free childcare for babies and toddlers of eligible parents
