We’re looking to appoint a small group of Research Evidence Champions—experienced educators and leaders working in, or closely connected to, Scottish primary and secondary settings.
Champions will play a vital role:
- connecting research evidence with everyday practice
- supporting the development of Scotland’s new Evidence Hub.
Champions will help ensure evidence is relevant, accessible, and actionable for practitioners by:
- Shaping and contextualising evidence-based resources for the Scottish education system.
- Promoting and modelling evidence informed practice across their networks.
- Supporting professional learning, resource development, and light-touch communications.
Champions will receive induction, ongoing professional development, and access to a supportive community of peers, while helping shape how evidence is communicated and used across Scotland.
Champions’ existing settings and organisations will benefit from the enhanced professional development expertise on their team, along with the opportunity to grow their profile, credibility and influence in the sector.
