This privacy notice describes how EEF will use your contact details, if your school/setting is part of a scale up project.
Your contact details will have been collected by the scale up project as part of your setting’s expression of interest to take part in the project.
This page should be read in conjunction with our privacy notice main page which covers information relevant to anyone whose data is used by the EEF.
The EEF will be contacting a random sample of schools/settings involved in the scale up project, to hear their experiences of participating in the work. The purpose for collecting your contact details from the scale up project is to enable the EEF to contact you about this.
In addition, the DfE or EEF may commission an evaluation or seek feedback of any scale up project we are funding. We may be required to share your contact details with the organisation/s that are conducting this evaluation.
The processing is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling EEF’s legitimate interests. These legitimate interests include supporting the evaluation of the impact of scale up projects, and ensuring that delivery of scale up projects is successful.
The EEF will also share the scale-up evaluation report with all participating settings using the contact details shared, in line with EEF’s legitimate interests.
We will collect the names and email addresses of contact at the setting from the scale up project. We may use this information or share it with an evaluator for the above purposes.
We will retain your contact details until six years after the scale up project is finished. At this point your contact information will be deleted.
As we are processing your personal data for our legitimate interests as stated above, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. There are legitimate reasons why we may refuse your objection, which depend on why we are processing it.
