This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you are a member of the EEF Evaluation Panel, EEF peer reviewer panel and members of the research and evaluation community who are interested in our work. This page should be read in conjunction with our privacy notice main page which covers information relevant to anyone whose data is used by the EEF.
The purpose for collecting your data is to enable us to communicate information regarding commissioning rounds, events, guidance updates, documents for peer reviews and sometimes surveys.
The GDPR lawful basis we rely on to process your personal data is legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6[1][f]). These interests are as per the above purposes.
We will collect contact details i.e., name, email addresses, and organisation address as well as details about areas of expertise, this is so we can follow-up where necessary regarding commissioning and reviewing. We will also require contact details to communicate throughout the process of a project. We also ask for limited work information, such as job title and institution to help us understand who is on our panel.
We will keep your contact details for as long as you remain on our panel, if you email to inform us that an individual’s contacts are no longer required, we shall remove this from our mailing list and database.
