We fund the development and evaluation of high-potential teaching and learning approaches, to help build the evidence-base of ​‘what works’ for schools, colleges, and early years settings in England. Everything we fund aims to raise the attainment of children and young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. 

The EEF does not currently have any open funding rounds. We generally launch two funding rounds per year in Spring and Autumn, which typically open for applications at the end of January and September, respectively. To be informed of future funding rounds, please sign up to our newsletters.

We thank all applicants to our Spring 2026 funding round, and you should hear from us regarding the outcome of your application by the end of April.
