Sir Michael Wilshaw
Sir Michael served as Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education, Children’s Services and Skills from 2012 to 2016.
Sir Frank currently serves as the Associate Director For Leadership at the Education and Training Foundation (ETF).
Sir Frank is one of the leading voices in the FE and training sector. Fourteen years as Principal of Camden and Islington College until July 2016, he has advised on policy development at a local, regional and national level.
Sir Frank was Chair of the highly influential Commission on Adult Vocational Teaching and Learning (CAVTL), whose report ‘It’s about work’ is central to the ETF’s mission.
He was awarded a CBE in 2009 and a Knighthood in 2015.
