He/HimJon leads EEF’s work on summarising evidence through resources like the Teaching and Learning Toolkit and our international partnerships.
Isabel undertakes a range of research at the EEF with a particular focus on the Teaching and Learning and Early Years Toolkits.
Isabel joined the EEF’s Evidence Synthesis team in April 2022. Her work is focused on making research accessible and useful to schools. This includes working on systematic reviews, rapid evidence assessments and producing evidence summaries. Isabel supports the development of the Toolkits and the database of education evidence that underpins them. Alongside this, other areas of work include the Early Years Evidence Store and Educational Technology (EdTech).
Before joining the EEF, Isabel trained as a primary school teacher with Teach First and has spent time teaching in London and abroad. After completing an MA in Comparative Education at the IoE, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Glasgow.
