We are transparent about our pay, all job descriptions include a clear salary which has been benchmarked against similar employers.
Recognising and rewarding our people matters to us, so our benefits are designed with you in mind. We are proud of our flexible approach and the range of benefits we offer to support you both in and out of work:
- Generous holiday allowance: 27 days’ holiday a year and two festive season closure days. When you add that to the eight statutory bank holidays, you get 37 paid days off each year.

The Staff Forum is a group composed of representatives from all teams within the EEF. It serves as a conduit for communication between staff members and the management team providing a platform for staff members to voice their ideas, concerns and suggestions, ensuring that their opinions are heard, valued and taken into consideration when making decisions that impact all staff.
The Staff Forum reflects our commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment. We firmly believe that by engaging with staff representatives, we can harness the collective wisdom and expertise of our team, contributing to an inclusive and collaborative work culture.
In addition to the Staff Forum, we have three working groups: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion; Mental Health and Wellbeing; Professional Development. The Working Groups were initially formed in order to make progress on initiatives that have been raised at the Staff Forum and through the annual staff survey. Progress has been made since their inception and the Working Groups continue to be an important component in ensuring that staff ideas, concerns and suggestions are taken into account. Each Working Group is made up of volunteers from the workforce who have a particular interest in the theme of the Working Group and wish to contribute beyond their job role to life at the EEF.
We’ve picked a handful of our staff to talk about their careers with the EEF. Find out what the day to day looks like and what they like best about working for us.
