We know that access to research alone isn’t sufficient to tackle the attainment gap, and evidence-informed approaches have the most impact when implemented using school and system leaders’ professional expertise. We work with the Research Schools Network to form partnerships with education settings and local system leaders, such as local authorities and multi-academy-trusts. We work together to identify priorities, co-construct solutions, and engage with research evidence to meet specific challenges.
Partnerships begin with an Evidence Exploration phase, where partners work together to identify local priorities and potential solutions. Some partnerships will then continue the journey through an Evidence into Action partnership, which put in place a range of approaches to improve practice within these identified priority areas.
Find out about our Evidence into Action partnerships delivering in 2024 – 26.
