He/HimJon leads EEF’s work on summarising evidence through resources like the Teaching and Learning Toolkit and our international partnerships.
Kat manages a range of evidence synthesis projects at the EEF and leads this work for guidance reports.
Kat joined the Synthesis team in 2021. Her main area of focus is Guidance Reports; Kat is responsible for ensuring past and future guidance reports are based on robust evidence but offer actionable and realistic recommendations for schools. Kat also supports a range of EEF projects such as the Early Years Evidence Store and Teaching and Learning Toolkit.
Prior to joining the EEF, Kat taught English for 9 years in secondary schools and held a variety of school leadership positions. Kat took a sabbatical working for Teach For Australia focusing on teacher professional development and completed an MSc in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford.
