Head of Evidence Synthesis
Jonathan Kay
Jonathan is our Head of Evidence Synthesis.
Rupal is responsible for supporting the EEF’s work on promoting evidence-informed policy.
She also leads the quality assurance that the EEF provides for policymakers on teacher professional development reforms (e.g., Early Careers Framework).
Rupal joined the policy team in June 2021. Prior to this, Rupal worked at CFE Research, where she managed a range of education reform research projects and evaluations for various government departments and third sector organisations including The Department for Education, The Education and Training Foundation, Wellcome Trust, Office for students and Social Mobility Commission.
She has also previously supported Education randomised control trials whilst working at Natcen Social Research. Rupal received her PhD in Social policy from the University of Nottingham
