Igraine Rhodes
She/HerIgraine (Iggy) leads the EEF’s Programmes team and is the EEF’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Kath leads the EEF’s post-16 work, building and mobilising the evidence base to support improved outcomes at this crucial stage of education.
Kath joined the EEF in 2005. She has previously worked across a range of areas, including SEND, as part of the Programmes team. In her current role she works with organisations across the 16-19 sector to build the evidence base across academic and technical courses, through robust trials. She creates evidence based resources to support good teaching and learning for disadvantaged learners, in a stage of education that is a ‘last chance’ to ensure learners are well placed to go on to a career or higher education.
Kath previously worked at the Social Mobility Foundation, setting up the UK’s first Social Mobility Employer Index, and at the Sutton Trust, working on the charities' 'access to the professions' programmes. During Covid-19, she was seconded to the National Tutoring Programme which was a key part of the UK Governments' catch-up strategy. She has an MSC in Environment, Science and Policy from King's College, and a BA in English from Oxford University.
