Grace Coker
Content and Engagement Specialist (Mathematics)
Grace supports the mobilisation and use of EEF evidence in the field of maths by producing content and gathering practitioner insights.
Grace joined the EEF in January 2023. Her role involves helping to drive the use and engagement of the EEF’s research evidence, primarily by developing tools, resources, and communications, related to the EEF’s evidence products (e.g. guidance reports). Her role also includes engaging with colleagues from schools and post-16 settings to gain insights into their priorities and practices.
Grace has fifteen years of teaching experience across the primary age range and ten years of leadership experience. She has led numerous training sessions to Northumbria and Newcastle University student teachers to enhance their subject knowledge and teaching strategies in mathematics. Grace has also worked with the Great North Maths Hub as a Primary Mastery Specialist and she is an NCETM accredited lead. Grace continues to work closely with maths leaders facilitating regular network meetings across Newcastle upon Tyne.
