Lauren develops content with, and for, the early years sector, focusing on evidence-informed practices to support our youngest children.
Lauren joined the EEF in August 2023.
Her role is to make evidence-informed practice accessible and bring it 'to life' to support young disadvantaged children. In part, this is through the development of the Early Years Evidence Store and accompanying resources. Her role also includes engaging with colleagues in the early years sector to gain their insights into practice, developing written and video exemplification, and user testing.
Before working at EEF, Lauren worked as a teacher, nursery nurse and quality improvement officer across various settings, including children's centres, schools and private nurseries.
After finishing her Early Years Education degree and QTS, Lauren completed an MSc in Psychology at the University of Northumbria. She has a particular interest in neurodivergence, individual differences and subjective well-being during childhood.
