Chloe Butlin
Content and Engagement Specialist (Literacy)
Chloe supports the mobilisation and use of EEF evidence in the field of literacy by producing content and gathering practitioner insights.
Chloe joined the EEF in August 2023. Her role is to coordinate the development and maintenance of high quality, relevant resources and tools related to the guidance reports and other evidence summaries across the EEF and the Research School Network. Her role also includes gaining expert insights from across the profession to help to shape this content.
Before working at EEF, Chloe was an English teacher and Research Lead in a secondary school, as well as an ECF and NPQLL facilitator. After finishing her degree in English Literature and gaining QTS, Chloe was awarded Chartered Teacher Status. She has a particular interest in the crucial role that literacy plays in breaking the link between family income and educational outcomes.
