Evaluation Manager
•She/HerMaria is responsible for commissioning robust evaluations of EEF-funded projects, and for supporting contracted research groups.
Maria joined EEF in 2021. Maria was responsible for coordinating the evaluation process for the joint funding round between EEF and YEF. She acted as an evaluation theme lead for Writing for the RA5 funding round and she has been leading the longitudinal analysis work package, and developing EEF's longitudinal analysis guidance. On a day-to-day basis, she conducts technical reviews of trial protocols, statistical analysis plans and trial and pilot reports. Maria has been responsible for the production of presentations to raise institutional awareness and increase knowledge for a broader education community.
Maria has previously worked for the Education and Training Foundation where she established processes for evidence-based decision-making, influenced program funding decisions and contributed to a more robust reporting to the Department for Education (DfE).
