Katharina Keck
Katharina is responsible for the management of EEF evaluations.
Marta is responsible for commissioning robust evaluations of EEF-funded projects, and for monitoring and supporting contracted research groups.
Marta Moratti has more than 15 years’ experience working on the generation, analysis and communication of research and evaluations to inform policy. Her work focuses on poverty, inequality and wellbeing both in international development and in the UK.
Marta has worked on research and evaluations for a number of different organisations, including Oxford Policy Management, 3ie, the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre, working on projects funded by DFID, UNICEF, DfE, among others.
Most recently, she was Head of Evidence at the What Works Centre for Wellbeing, ensuring the evidence generated, commissioned and promoted by the Centre was robust, relevant and accessible. She joins EEF from the RVC where she led the evaluation strategy of initiatives to increase access of under-represented students into Higher Education in the UK.
Marta holds a PhD in Development Economics from Sussex University and Bocconi University.
