Marta Moratti
Evaluation Manager
Marta is responsible for commissioning robust evaluations of EEF-funded projects, and for supporting contracted research groups.
Marta Moratti joined EEF in April 2023 and is responsible for commissioning robust evaluations of EEF-funded projects, and for supporting contracted research groups. She works on a number of initiatives, including projects related to level of randomisation in trials, opening up the EEF data archive and fostering learning from evaluations.
Before joining EEF, Marta worked for more than 15 years on the generation, analysis and communication of research and evaluations to inform policy. Her work focuses on poverty, inequality and wellbeing both in international development and in the UK.
She worked for Oxford Policy Management, the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre, the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), What Works Centre for Wellbeing and she worked as an Independent Consultant on data and evaluation projects.
Marta holds a PhD and an MA in Development Economics from Sussex University and an MA in International Politics from Universita' Statale di Milano
